
Honda Thailand Foundation have collaborated to distribute 60,000 jackets, 30,000 children’s jackets, and 30,000 pairs of children’s socks
CHIANG RAI – The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has collaborated with Honda Thailand Foundation to distribute winter wear to residents of North and Northeast Provinces.
Deputy Interior Minister Suthee Makboon revealed that the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and Honda Thailand Foundation have collaborated to distribute 60,000 jackets, 30,000 children’s jackets, and 30,000 pairs of children’s socks.
Operations are scheduled from November 9-13. The winter clothing caravan will make stops in the provinces of Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, and Mukdahan.
Project staffers have been instructed to evaluate the province’s need and distribute supplies accordingly. Target groups include the elderly, persons with disabilities, the disadvantaged, and children in remote areas.
