12th annual International Day will officially be held on Thursday, February 12th.
CHIANG MAI – Payap University is pleased to announce that the 12th annual International Day will officially be held on Thursday, February 12th. The festivities will begin around 5pm until 8pm and will be held behind Sirindhorn Library, on the Mae Khao campus.
Our event hopes to promote ethnic diversity, understanding, and inclusion of Chiangmai’s and Northern Thailand’s international community. Last year, we had over 50 food and activity stalls, which were primarily operated by our very own Payap students, faculty and staff . Stalls represented countries from all across the globe such as, Japan, China, Korea, Myanmar, Thailand, USA, and more.
The event is free to attend, but you may purchase 20 THB tickets in advanced for a prize drawing. Tickets for the prize drawing can also be purchased on the day of the event, but they will be 40THB. The grand prize is 5000 THB!
In addition to enjoying delicious food and activities from all over the world, our international students will be putting on various cultural performances. We are also excited to announce that this year’s cultural show will feature Thailand’s popular country folk singer, Jonas Anderson.
