Pol Lt Athipong Sirpho, a duty officer at at Thonglor police station, told the Bangkok Post police investigators, officers from the Scientific Crime Detection Division and workers of a charity foundation went to the condominium after being informed of the incident in the Sukhumvit area shortly after noon.
They found the body of Kim Yong-krok, lying at the entrance of the condominium’s parking lot.
According to witness accounts, the Mr. Kim came alone to rent a room on the 26th floor on Jan 4.
On Tuesday morning he called a masseuse for a traditional Thai massage. After the service, he asked the masseuse 58-year old Ms Kong-ngern Duangprathum to take a photo of him at the veranda and then he shifted to sit on the railing of the veranda and, out of a sudden, he slipped and fell to the ground below.
Ms Kong-ngern said when she recovered from the shock she alerted the condominium staff.
