Saraburi police identified the Norwegian national as Nils Gunvald Bakke, a resident of Kaeng Koy district’s Tha Toom subdistrict.

Mr. Bakke was found dead on the second floor room sitting on a chair with plastic bag covering his head and a rubber ring tying tightly around the neck.
His Thai wife Narisara Panna, 49, in tearful eyes, told police that she married and lived with him for more than 30 years.
She said her husband was a businessman in the crude oil business and travel regularly between Thailand and Norway.
She said that during the past few months, her husband complained about losses from his investments and was in stress when all his saving had run out, he also complained that he had no money to pay for his visa which was about to expire.
Forensic police inspected the room but found no traces of struggle, and initially believe he committed suicide as a suicide message was left by his side.
In Bangkok Police said Korean Kim Yong-krok,36, plunged to death from the 26th floor of a 29-storey luxury condominium Tuesday, reportedly while posing for pictures on his balcony.
Pol Lt Athipong Sirpho, a duty officer at at Thonglor police station, told the Bangkok Post police investigators, officers from the Scientific Crime Detection Division and workers of a charity foundation went to the condominium after being informed of the incident in the Sukhumvit area shortly after noon.
They found the body of Kim Yong-krok, lying at the entrance of the condominium’s parking lot.
According to witness accounts, the Mr. Kim came alone to rent a room on the 26th floor on Jan 4.
On Tuesday morning he called a masseuse for a traditional Thai massage. After the service, he asked the masseuse 58-year old Ms Kong-ngern Duangprathum to take a photo of him at the veranda and then he shifted to sit on the railing of the veranda and, out of a sudden, he slipped and fell to the ground below.
Ms Kong-ngern said when she recovered from the shock she alerted the condominium staff.
