The train traveling from Nakhon Ratchasima to Khon Kaen collided with the truck at a railway crossing on Thursday morning. Two train staff and two passengers on board the four-bogie train were instantly killed during the accident.
Local authorities are conducting a clean-up operation in the area and all train services running through the route are temporarily suspended.

Another train accident occurred late Tuesday night when the engine of 35-year-old Pakrassami Makradee’s car gave out while she was driving through a railway crossing in Phitsanulok province.
The train slammed into her car and dragged it for 100 metres. Luckily, Pakrassami only suffered minor injuries.
