Rudy Pospisil a Fire Department Captain and cancer survivor from Vancouver Canada has been cycling around the globe for cancer research, he has covered half of the Earth so far.

Rudy will be cycling across Thailand from Chiang Mai to Singapore starting November 18 2014, raising charity money for your Red Cross Cancer Research Hospital in Bangkok.
Currently (November to January 2014) he is making his way to Thailand where he will cycle 2500 km from Chiang Mai through Thailand and Malaysia to Singapore.
Rudy Pospisil ‘s aim is to make a difference, to share his story, inspire the many and raise money for cancer research.
His journey is not so much for fundraising as it is to draw people around the world together to finally end a disease that effects one in three of us.
Rudy says I hope to do this by inspiring others to do the similar events, promote awareness of these diseases and start ongoing events in places I visit. I am very happy to say that so far this has been successful.
In each Country I help by raising money for their charities and arranging future fundraisers. I have been involved in starting and assisting in annual fundraisers in cities such as Prague, Budapest and Zurich.
The idea to circumnavigate the globe by bicycle was born when diagnosed with Cancer 14 years ago. Over time my entire family was diagnosed with cancer. I was the last one.
